News reaching the Siya crew is that Ajax Cape Town coach, Roger De Sa, is impressed by Kenyan player, Kevin Omondi.
De Sa revealed to the crew that the player is good and he’d like to have a look at him again. The 23-year old player was at Ikamva last week and he trained with De Sa charges.
However, because of the league’s commitments, the former Orlando Pirates mentor couldn’t have enough time with the Kenyan player.
“Kevin was aright you know, I hope to have him back again. I was occupied by the league and the travelling also week and couldn’t assess him in our training sessions. I’d like to invite him again during our pre-season and we can take it from there. I was quite impressed to be honest and we’ll see,” said De Sa.
The midfielder currently plays for Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League and is likely to feature for the Urban warriors next season if De Sa’s impression is anything to go by.
