Information coming out of the Ajax Cape Town camp is that midfielder, Toriq Losper, is staying at the club.
Although the crew broke the story that Losper has signed until 2017, speculation was rife that the player was set to join Wits but the deal never materialise.
Coach, Roger De Sa, is a known fan of Bhongolwethu Jayiya and Ryan Chapman. The former Wits mentor wanted to bring the duo at Ikamva.
However, the deal between the two sides did not materialise and it looks like the Mitchell’s Plein-born man will stay put at the Urban Warriors.
Speaking to the crew, De Sa, refuted claims that the 22-year old player is going to Braamfontein unless he doesn’t know.
“Not that I know about his move to Wits, as far as I’m concerned, Losper is staying at Ajax. As far as I know, nobody is leaving the club. We haven’t had any official contacts or offers for my players yet. I will have my full squad on the 23rd of June when we report for pre-season camp,” said the former Orlando Pirates mentor.
Losper played started 13 league games plus one cup game this past season.
