Ajax Cape Town are heading back to the Mother City, while Platinum Stars are heading off to Limpopo.
The football fraternity was dealt a shock today after the South African Football Association confirmed that the Urban Warriors have been docked seven points, while Stars received a lifeline of three points which took them to 15th place on the league standings.
Ajax’s seven-point deduction from their 31, sees the team on 24 points, three points less that Stars who are now on 27 points and through to the promotion/ relegation play-offs.
The Urban Warriors were already in Limpopo at the time of the ruling, preparing to face off with Black Leopards in the play-offs.
The ruling then meant that Ajax are set to head back to Cape Town, while Dikwena take their spot in the play-offs, as they look to maintain their top-flight status.
According to sources in the know, Ajax have hit the road, returning to the Mother City while Stars have travelled to Limpopo, where they will gear up to face Black Leopards tomorrow, May 16.
