Ajax Cape Town and Bidvest Wits will be locking horns in the Absa Premiership this evening where both sides will be fighting to move away from the relegation zone.
Wits are currently last on the Absa Premiership league standings with nine points, however, only lagging behind Ajax on goal difference.
Ajax are currently at 14th place on the log, with the Cape Town-based side struggling to get back to winning ways.
Should Head Coach Stanley Menzo’s side see a change of form against Wits, a win for the Urban Warriors will give them breathing space as they look to move away from the drop.
However, Head Coach Gavin Hunt’s side might make this hard for the Urban Warriors, with Wits also looking to continue their momentum after their Telkom Knockout Cup win this past weekend.
Despite 12 games already being played in the league, there are just 10 points separating first place from the last, with indications that both Ajax and Wits could likely continue to move further up the league standings should they see a change of form in the Absa Premiership.
The Students will host Ajax at the Bidvest Stadium on Wednesday, December 06 and it remains to be seen who will be breathing easier after the full-time whistle.
