Free State Stars goalkeeper, Daniel Agyei, has resumed training with the rest of his teammates.
The Ghanaian, who is in his first season with Ea Lla Koto, has been the team’s number one goalkeeper until he was stopped in his progress by an injury.
According to a source at Stars, the 24-year-old has been training with the team although he didn’t make the trip to KZN for the league game against Maritzburg United last night.
“He is back at training. He has recovered and that is a boost for the team,” said the source.
Tshepo Motsoeneng has been getting game time at Stars in Agyei’s absence, with Ayanda Mtshali deputising for him.
Depending on the player’s fitness, Stars coaches, Themba Sithole and Kinnah Phiri could decide to use the player as the number one in the remaining games of the season.
Still at Stars, Mbhuyiselo Sambu missed the game against United due to an ankle injury.
