adidas have launched the next generation adizero f50 football boot, a boot which enables players to be faster than ever before.
The new adizero f50 is all about precision engineering with every aspect of the boot design based around making the wearer as fast as possible on the football field. At only 165g, the adizero f50 is one of the lightest shoes on the market.
Football fans received an early preview of what the boots could do when the world's best player, Leo Messi, exclusively debuted them in the UEFA Champions League against Celtic on November 7 (2012).
The boot combines revolutionary technologies with cutting edge engineering in order to create the latest incarnation of the hugely successful silo series.
The next-generation technologies are designed to enable players to ‘Find Fast’, and performance metrics can be tracked, analysed and compared against the best players in the world or with your friends via social media networks using the ground breaking adidas miCoach capability.
International stars that sport the boot include the likes of Dani Alves, Karim Benzema, David Silva and David Villa, with local heroes wearing the adizero f50 football boots including Oupa Manyisa, Tsepho Masilela, Sifiso Myeni and Kama Billiat. They started using the new boot from the 20th of November 2012.
