News coming out of Zimbabwe is that on-loan Mpumalanga Black Aces striker, Tendai Ndoro, has been nominated for the 2013 Castle Premiership Soccer Star of the Year award in his homeland of Zimbabwe.
According to the Daily News, Ndoro, who plays for Chicken Inn on loan from Aces, was named amongst the 11 finalists for this prestigious award.
The selection meeting for the end-of-the season awards, was held in Harare on Saturday, with members of the media, coaches and players representatives all voting for different categories.
Ndoro, who is also in line for the Top Goal-Scorer award after netting 18 goals this season, was signed by Aces from Chicken Inn at the beginning of the season.
He couldn’t be registered in time to play for AmaZayoni this season, so was loaned back to the Zimbabwean outfit.
The 25-year-old striker is expected to join AmaZayoni in January.
