Mpumalanga Black Aces have announced that Jonas Mabusela has been appointed as the team's second assistant coach.
Mabusela, who captained AmaZayoni from 1995 to 2000, becomes Aces’ second assistant coach after AmaZayoni appointed Johnny Ferreira as Clive Barker’s assistant coach recently.

"It’s exciting to be back at Aces and more so that I’ve got the opportunity to work with the legendary Clive Barker," Mabusela told the club’s official website.
"My mandate is to work alongside Johnny Ferreira in a supporting Clive Barker to assist developing the Aces team reach new heights this season. With the knowledge of and experience of Barker, I honestly believe that we will bring back the glory days to the Mpumalanga province,” added Mabusela.
Mabusela joins the Aces technical team for the third time, after assisting Sammy Troughton win promotion back to the PSL in the 2008/09 season.
He was also an assistant to Aki Ayiomamidis in the 2009/10 season, when Aces won the PSL promotional playoffs.
Prior to his appointment, Mabusela was working with the Aces reserve team, AmaZayoni FC, where he had been head coach for the past two years.
