Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Mumuni Abubakar is already in preparation for the start of the NFD season with Black Leopards.
Soccer-Laduma revealed last week Friday that Leopards are interested in the player, with his signing now imminent.
The Ghanaian, who recently had a trial in Belgium, has been looking for a club with indications that he is not in coach Pitso Mosimane’s plans at Chloorkop.
Leopards’ coach, Kosta Papic, is keen on the player to assist him in his mission to help the Limpopo outfit to return to the PSL. The club's Media Officer, Berry Ramunenyiwa, confirmed to the Siya crew that Abubakar is already with Lidoda Duvha.
“We are working on signing him and he is training with us already. We are hoping to meet the transfer deadline and we are working on that. We are rushing to conclude everything. We really want him. The coach is trying to build a strong team and he is quite happy with what he has,” said Ramunenyiwa.
