Absa Premiership
Teams: Kaizer Chiefs v MP Black Aces
Date: 9 April 2014
Venue: FNB Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they host MP Black Aces in a league match at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday night.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.
Chiefs come into this game off the back of a 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in the league, their first loss at home this season.
They still find themselves at the top of the table with 52 points, tied on points with Sundowns, but with a superior goal difference.
A win for Chiefs over Aces will also see them lift the Q3 title.
Aces will also be looking to bounce back from a loss when they saw their unbeaten streak in the league ended at six games when they lost 2-1 at home to Bidvest Wits on Saturday.
The side from Mpumalanga currently occupy seventh place on the table with 37 points, but a win over Chiefs combined with other results going their way could see them up to fourth on the table.
In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Aces have met in 29 league matches since 1985.
The Amakhosi have 20 wins compared to just four for AmaZayoni, while five matches have been drawn.
Chiefs have won 11 of their 14 home matches against Aces, suffering just two defeats in the process.
When the teams met earlier this season the Amakhosi claimed a 1-0 away win thanks to a goal from Bernard Parker.
Here is how they line up.
Chiefs: Itumeleng Khune, Siboniso Gaxa, Tefu Mashamaite, Morgan Gould, Tsepo Masilela, Willard Katsande, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siphiwe Tshabalala, George Lebese, Bernard Parker, Kingston Nkhatha
Aces: Jackson Mabokgwane, Abel Mabaso, Method Mwanjale, Zamuxolo Ngalo, Mbulelo Mabizela, Clifford Ngobeni, Abia Nale, Sandile Zuke, Tendai Ndoro, Themba Zwane, Thabo Qalinge.
