SuperSport Claim First League Win

Clayton Daniel's first half penalty was enough to secure a 1-0 win for SuperSport United over Chippa United in an Absa Premiership clash at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Cavin Johnson's men claimed their first win of the season, however, the game will be also be remembered for two red cards in the second half.
New signing Dove Wome came close to opening the scoring for SuperSport just after 10 minutes, however long range effort was well saved by Tshepo Motsoeneng.
Twala registered the visitor's first effort at goal in the 18th minute, but SuperSport goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, was equal to the task.
Minutes later and the home side took the lead, as Clayton Daniels converted from the penalty spot, after Bheki Nzunga was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box.
Chippa almost pulled level three minutes later, but Mondli Mbenyane's long range effort forced Williams into a fine save.
There was some drama in the 65th minute as SuperSport's Prince Nxumalo and and Chippa's Komane were both sent off for a studs-showing challenge.
Both sides pushed for the winner in the closing stages of the game, but neither managed to create any meaningful openings to finish the game off.
