10-man Polokwane City managed to earn themselves a point, as they played out a 0-0 draw with Bidvest Wits at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The Clever Boys took control in the opening stages and made their intentions clear from the onset, and they had the ball in the back of the net after 13 minutes but Bongani Khumalo's header was flagged for offside.
Darren Keet was has handed his first start since re-joining the club, and he had busy opening 30 minutes, having been forced into a number of good saves.
Clear-cut chances were hard to come by as the half went on, as both sides struggled to retain possession.
The half ended on a sour note for Polokwane when Thapelo Tshilo was shown a straight red card for shoving Mhango in the face.
Gavin Hunt opted a for change 10 minutes into the second half, as he introduced Eleazar Rodgers for Dillon Sheppard.
Wits were struggling to break down the Polokwane defence, despite having the numerical advantage in the second half.
As the Clever Boys searched for an opener, Hunt introduced Sifiso Myeni for Elias Pelembe after 78 minutes.
Wits pushed for a winner in the final 10 minutes, but were unable to bypass a stubborn Polokwane defence, as both sides earned a share of the spoils.
