Maritzburg United picked up their first win of the season, with a 2-1 victory over Polokwane City at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
The Team of Choice maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign with the hard-fought win, although both sides finished the game with 10 men.
After a quiet opening 20 minutes, the game sparked into life, as Mohau Mokate slotted home for his goal for the club.
However, the men from Polokwane pushed on for a equaliser and were rewarded, as Tlolane's delightful free-kick leveled matters for the visitors.
That was as good as it got in the first half at the Harry Gwala Stadium, as the teams went into the halftime break with scores tied at 1-1.
The second half started off with a bit of drama, as Maritzburg's Mokate and Polokwane City's Elias Ngwepe were both sent off.
However, the hosts pushed on despite being 10 men, and were rewarded as Mnonyama popped to restore Maritzburg's lead in the 61st minute.
Boebie Solomon's men pushed on for the much needed equaliser, but the Maritzburg defence stood firm, as the picked the three points.
