Maritzburg United came back from a goal down  to draw 1-1 with Golden Arrows in their Absa Premiership tie on Wednesday.

On the stroke of half-time the visitors' job became tougher as Mekoa was shown a red card after tempers flared, resulting in a yellow cards for Lentjies and Cele.

United's best chance came in the 56th minute. Lenjies curled in a corner and Onyango was in position to head the ball onto the bar.

The visitors continued to push for the equaliser and were rewarded in the 71st minute as the influential Lentjies found the back of the net with a super strike.
