Free State Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by Polokwane City in the Absa Premiership on Saturday.
Ea Lla Koto looked good in the early exchanges as they knocked the ball around in midfield. The slick movement of the ball helped set up Vilakazi who drilled a shot wide of Chigova's goal.
At the other end of the pitch Maluleke also threatened to score the opener. He had a good chance from a free kick but his effort went wide of the target.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 55th minute thanks to a brilliant piece of skill from Lucky Mohomi who found the back of the Polokwane goal with an excellent strike.
