Chippa, Maritzburg Draw After Entertaining Battle

Absa Premiership
Result: Chippa United 2-2 Maritzburg United
Date: 20 March 2016
Venue: Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Chippa United and Maritzburg United shared the spoils after a see-saw battle in the Absa Premiership finished 2-2 on Sunday.
The game was off to a blisteringly fast start with two goals in the opening 15 minutes.
Philani Zulu got the ball rolling in the sixth minute as he produced a good finish to put the Team of Choice in the lead.
Four minutes later it was the hosts' turn to bulge the opposing net as Andile Mbenyane netted the equalising goal for Chippa.
Brimming with confidence, Mbenyane then came close to bagging his brace with a header, but the Maritzburg defence scrambled to clear it off the line.
The Chilli Boys found their second goal in the 39th minute as they took the lead for the first time. Joseph Molangoane conjured the strike for the hosts, finishing with the side of his boot.
However, Evans Rusike hit back for the travelers on the stroke of half-time to level matters once again.
The second half was a much more sterile affair as neither side truly threatened to come up with the winning goal as the two sides played out to a draw.
Here's how they lined up:
