Baroka FC remain top of the Absa Premiership after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Cape Town City on Tuesday evening.
The game got off to a quiet start, with neither side looking threatening in the opening exchanges.
Sipho Moeti had the game's first effort at goal after 10 minutes, but the Baroka midfielder's long range strike sailed wide of Sage Stephens' upright.
The Citizens enjoyed most of the possession in the first half, but they found it tough to carve out clear-cut chances in the final third.
Unfortunately, that proved to be the trend for the rest of the opening half as neither goalkeeper was called into action.
10 minutes into the second half, Baroka broke the deadlock as Robin Ngalande fired a low effort into the far corner after superb passing move, 0-1.
City head coach Benni McCarthy responded by introducing Ayanda Patosi for Teko Modise a minute later.
The home side managed to level matters on 67 minutes thanks to a goal from Craig Martin, who turned home Lyle Lakay's cross.
With time running out, McCarthy decided to throw on defender Tshepo Gumede for Letsie Koapeng as City looked to shut up shop.
City pushed for a winning goal, with Roland Putsche and Martin going closing in stoppage time. However, 1-1 was how the score remained at the full-time whistle.
Here's how they lined up:
City: 32. Stephens, 2. Mkhize, 12. Fielies, 16. Johannes, 6. Seedat, 19. Putsche, 13. Modise (Patosi 56'), 23. Matsi, 30. Martin, 7. Lakay (Masina 70'), 9. Koapeng (Gumede 86')
