The hosts finally broke the deadlock in the 14th minute through a Victor Letsoalo strike after SuperSport failed to deal with Celtic's impressive passing.

Brockie looked sharp in the 46th minute as he latched onto a cross and headed it towards goal but was unfortunate to see effort sailed just wide of the upright.
A quick one-two between Brockie and Aubrey Modiba saw the latter try his luck from range, but he failed to hit the target as United piled on the pressure.

The equaliser finally came in the 74th minute when substitute Darren Smith managed to head home from close range to mark his SuperSport debut with a goal.
