Bloemfontein Celtic claimed the spoils in the Free State derby as they thrashed Free State Stars 3-0 at the Dr Molemela Stadium.
Celtic looked the livelier of the two sides in the opening exchanges, with Lantshene Phalane and Victor Letsoalo going close with shots in the opening 15 minutes.
Chances were falling for the home side, and they went close once again in the 16th minute but Stars goalkeeper Robert Sangare produced a good save to keep the scores level.
Stars, meanwhile, were finding it tough to get their usual game going as Mohammed Anas cut a frustrated figure upfront.
Celtic's pressure eventually paid off in the 30th minute courtesy of a strike from Letsoalo, 1-0.
That proved to be the final bit of action of the half as Veselin Jelusic's charges took a 1-0 lead into the break.
Celtic extended their lead 12 minutes into the second half courtesy of a strike from Lucky Baloyi. His second goal of the season.
