Bloemfontein Celtic boosted their top-eight hopes in the Absa Premiership with a 2-1 victory over Baroka FC on Sunday afternoon.
Siwelele made only two changes from their Nedbank Cup last 16 win over Maritzburg United, with Mpusana Tani and Given Mashikinya being recalled.
On the other side, Bakgaga recalled goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze, Denwin Farmer and Goodman Mosele Ivan Mahangwahaya after missing the cup action last weekend..
Despite booking a spot in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup, Celtic were in danger of being dragged to the relegation battle after losing three of their last four league matches.
The home side had a better start in the first stanza as Tebogo Potsane broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark, which had Lehlohonolo Seema's charges in the driving seat going to the break.
The Limpopo side came back fired up from the break as Manuel Kambala levelled matters for them four minutes into the second stanza with a strike from the centre of the box after he was setup by Mahangwahaya.
Celtic were also not lying down and restored their lead with 21 minutes remaining in the second half thanks to a solo efort from the ever-reliable Ndumiso Mabena.
Seema closed up shop in the last ten minutes, as he brought on defender Ryan De Jongh for Potsane while in the same moment Kerr introduced Ranga Chivaviro for Mosele as the visitors pushed for an equaliser.
In the end, Celtic managed to keep Baroka at bay to secure a 2-1 win that saw them consolidating ninth place wwhile Baroka dropped to 13th spot.
