Steve Komphela's Bloemfontein Celtic moved level on points with Absa Premiership leaders Bidvest Wits, after they defeated Black Leopards 1-0 on Sunday.
Tshegofatso Mabaso got the opening goal for Siwelele in the tenth minute after going through inside the box from a diagonal pass and lifted his shot over the on-rushing Leopards goalkeeper King Ndlovu.
Lidoda Duvha were forced in to make a substitution on the half-hour mark after Jean Munganga got injured and he was replaced by Tshivhavhudzi Ndou.
Joel Masutha’s charges increased their intensity after 35 minutes and creating chances but they were wasteful inside the box.
Steve Komphela’s troops, however, remained compact and looked for chances on counter-attacks as they managed to hold on to their 1-0 lead going into the break.
Lentshane Phalane almost got the second goal for Celtic in the 67th minute with a long range strike but his effort sailed over the bar.
The home side were dominating possession as the half went on, but they struggled to carve out clear-cut chances against the Celtic defence.
Ndumiso Mabena had a rare chance for Phunya Sele Sele 15 minutes before time after going through from just outside the box but he fired wide.
Leopards were pushing forward with numbers towards the end, but the visitors desperately held on for the three points.
