Goals from Grant Margeman and Ndiviwe Mdabuka helped Ajax Cape Town record a 2-0 win over Platinum Stars at the Cape Town Stadium.
The Urban Warriors broke the deadlock in the seventh minute, as Grant Margeman latched onto a pass from Travis Graham before firing home at the near post.
Ajax were in control from the onset and they carved out another chance in the 21st minute when Mosa Lebusa picked out Prince Nxumalo, who side-footed wide from close range.
Mzimela came to Dikwena's rescue in the 33rd minute as he produced a fine reflex save to keep out Prince Nxumalo's close range header.
Nxuamlo squandered another chance to double Ajax's lead after 41 minutes . The striker burst through on goal but failed to score with only Mzimela to beat.
The score remained 1-0 to home side at the halftime break.
Dikwena enjoyed more of the possession once the second half got underway, although the Ajax defence did well to withstand the pressure.
Nathan Paulse should have doubled Ajax's lead in the 63rd minute but the veteran strike fired over the crossbar from six-yards out.
The Urban Warriors eventually doubled their lead two minutes later as Mdabuka's volley deflected off Paulse and sailed past Mzimela, 2-0.
Cavin Johnson opted for an attacking change in the 73rd minute as Abia Nale made way for striker Ndumiso Mabena.
Nonethless, the Urban Warriors brought on Lawrence Lartey for the final few minutes, as they managed to see out the closing stages,
