Aces Down Helpless SuperSport

Mpumalanga Black Aces picked up their first league win, after defeating SuperSport United 2-1 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Clive Barker's men moved off the foot of the Absa Premiership table thanks to goals from Collins Mbesuma and Aubrey Ngoma, while SuperSport's woeful start to the campaign continues.
Tendai Ndoro almost opened the scoring for Aces in the 12th minute, as an error from Teyise, allowed the striker in on goal but he managed to he place his effort wide of the target.
The visitors went close again in the 28th minute, as Thabang Rooi's glancing header sailed just over the crossbar.
There was a bit of drama midway through the second half, as SuperSport's Micheal Morton and Aces' Sandile Zuke were both shown red cards for retaliation.
While, David Mathebula came close for the hosts just before the halftime break, but his long range effort went just over the bar.
Chenene should have given SuperSport the lead three minutes after the restart, but the winger managed steer his header wide of the target from close range.
Ronwen Williams came to the hosts' rescue in the 55th minute, as he pulled off a fine save to deny Lehlohonolo Nonyane.
However, Aces got the all important opener in the 68th minute through Mbesuma, as he tapped home from six-yards out for his first for the campaign. Ngoma then got Aces' second goal in the 75th minute, after being set up by Tinashe Nengomasha.
SuperSport pulled one back in stoppage time, through new signing Dove Wome, although it proved to be nothing more than a consolation goal.
