Resurgent Celtic Dispatch Dikwena

Absa Premiership
Result: Bloemfontein Celtic 2-0 Platinum Stars
Date: 01 March 2015
Venue: Free State Stadium
Goals from Alfred Ndengane and Lerato Lamola handed Bloemfontein Celtic a 2-0 win over Platinum Stars on Sunday afternoon.
Celtic went ahead as early as the second minute, as Alfred Ndengane took advantage of some sloppy defending to turn home Keegan Ritchie's cross at the back post.
After a barren spell in the game, Celtic doubled their lead just before the halftime break courtesy of a sublime long range effort Lerato Lamola, his eighth goal of the season.
It was a poor first half from Allan Freese's men, who only managed one effort on target, but they were poor in the final third as well, most notably the crossing from the respective flanks.
Celtic continued in the same fashion as they did in the first half, and nearly got a third in the 56th minute but Dumisani Zuma's header failed to trouble Kabelo Dambe.
Mogakolodi Ngele tried his luck with a free-kick from 25-yards out in the 63rd minute, but his stinging effort was palmed away by Patrick Tignyemb.
Thapelo Morena proved to be a tricky customer for the Stars' defence to deal with throughout the 90 minutes and he almost got a third for Celtic in the 73rd minute, the winger skipped past two defenders before seeing his volley palmed away by Dambe.
Dikwena came close to pulling a goal back in the 87th minute but Mahlatsi Makudubela's curling effort was tipped over the bar by Tignyemb.
Celtic's fine run in 2015 continues, as they pick up their third win in four games in all competitions, while Stars' winless run extends to seven games.
Here's how they lined up:
Bloemfontein Celtic:  Tingyemb, Ritchie, Fransman, Bilankulu, Mazava, Ntanga, Ndengane, Zuma, Morena, Lamola, Nyatama
Platinum Stars: Dambe, Mere, Shitolo,Sithole,Masenamela, Mathe, Khumalo, Manaka, Moon, Segolela, Rodgers
