Following his side’s 2-0 win over Jomo Cosmos in an Absa Premiership match on Sunday, ‘man of the match’ and Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfield Keagan Dolly praised his side’s determination to win.
Dolly, who scored a brace on the day, admits his team has been struggling in the league, but they never gave up and their hard work is now paying off.
“Credit must go to my teammates and the coach for never giving up,” said Dolly.
“We haven’t being do well in the league, but we never gave up and we kept on fighting, and now it is paying off.”
Dolly added that he was happy to find his first goals for the club, but knew it was only a matter of time before he found the back of the net.
“It feels good to score my first goals for Sundowns, it has been coming,” added Dolly.
“I haven’t been scoring for my team and I am happy that I got them today.
“Let’s hope I keep on scoring, but as a team we are focussed on one goal and we are working towards it.
“We will keep on pushing and thank the supporters that came out today and for not giving up on us.
“We will keep on working hard.”
