Half Time: Kaizer Chiefs v Golden Arrows
Date: 2 April 2014
Venue: FNB Stadium
It was not the most entertaining first half as Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows entered the break in their Absa Premiership match at FNB Stadium on Wednesday night locked at 0-0.
The opening 45 minutes saw Chiefs with more of the ball, but they lacked imagination in the final third and failed to make the most of their domination.
Arrows, on the other hand, defended in their numbers which left them very little option in attack.
The Amakhosi tried to make use of the flanks, but their final pass or cross was poor and as a consequence most of their chances on goal came from long range.
Arrows only threat in attack came on the counter, but they never troubled Brilliant Khuzwayo in the Amakhosi goal.
Statistically, Chiefs were far superior in terms of possession stakes and shots on goal with nine efforts to the Durban side’s two.
