Teboho Mokoena: 7/10

He was lively in his attacking midfield role. He used his speed and skill to attack down the flank and produced some dangerous balls into the box. He had a few shots on goal which went narrowly wide.

Aubrey Modiba: 7/10

Although he did not see much of the ball, when he was in possession he created a few problems for the Pirates defence. He had a couple of efforts on goal which went narrowly wide.

Clayton Daniels: 7/10

He was solid in his centre-back role and marshalled his defence well. He made numerous important tackles and interceptions to stop the Pirates attack. He was handed the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his efforts.

Innocent Maela: 7/10

He was good in his left-back role where he defended well and also got forward down the flank to help in attack. He provided some very good crosses into the box which resulted in goal scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Mpho Makola: 7/10

He was lively in his central midfield role where he dictated the flow of play and created a few scoring chances for his teammates. He was also very unfortunate not to score after striking the woodwork on two separate occasions.

Luvuyo Memela: 7/10

He was a constant thorn in the side of SuperSport’s defence. His speed and skill caused numerous problems for SuperSport. He created scoring chances for his teammates and also had a couple of shots on goal which narrowly missed the target.

Siyabonga Nhlapo: 5/10

He struggled in his right-back position and was often beaten down the flank by the likes of Maela and Memela. He also offered very little in terms of helping down the flank in attack

Dean Furman: 5/10

He struggled to get into the game and to control the midfield battle. He saw very little of the ball and was not effective in his defensive midfield role, often allowing the Pirates attackers to get the better of him.

Thuso Phala: 5/10

He was never really in the game and struggled to create any attacking momentum down the flank. He was also wasteful in possession and gifted the ball back to the opposition with some poor passing.

Thembinkosi Lorch: 5/10

He was very quiet in his attacking role. He saw very little of the ball and was never really in the game. He was substituted mid-way through the second half.
