Mpumalanga Black Aces winger, Abia Nale, is available to face Kaizer Chiefs tonight, despite the Amakhosi being his current parent club.
Nale is in the middle of a season-long loan from Chiefs to Aces having been told that he was surplus to requirements at Naturena, and has played a role in Aces’ fine form in the PSL up to now.
However, with both Mamelodi Sundowns and Wits putting clauses in their loan agreements with other clubs stating that their players cannot play against them when on loan, it was unknown as to whether Nale could feature against the Glamour Boys.
AmaZayoni have since revealed on their Facebook page that Nale can play, saying, “Good news for Aces is that Abia Nale, who is on-loan from Chiefs, will be allowed to play tomorrow night.
“Unlike Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits, Chiefs have no clause that prevents on-loan players from playing against their parent clubs.”
Nale, like many before him, will be hoping to take the opportunity tonight to score against the team that decided he was no longer needed.
