Mamelodi Sundowns, Cape Town City, SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic are all in action tonight and tomorrow as 2017 comes to an end for South Africa’s top-flight, with all of them hoping to try and end the year on a high ahead of the Christmas break.
Masandawana will be without their young central defender, Motjeka Madisha, following his yellow card against Siwelele, while Celtic’s Tshepo Rikhotso is also absent after he was shown a yellow card in the same game.
While Pitso Mosimane will have to make a plan without Madisha, Benni McCarthy will also have to make a plan to deal with Sibusiso Masina’s absence, a player that was given his fourth caution of the season in the 1-0 win over AmaZulu.
Meanwhile, Eric Tinkler is likely to push Aubrey Modiba back into left back as Richard Kissi Boateng sits out the clash with Celtic. He’s received yellows in his last four league games and is now suspended.
Sundowns host City tonight at 19h30, while Matsatsantsa and Celtic lock horns at the same time tomorrow.
