A Former Mamelodi Sundowns Coach Has Passed Away
A former Mamelodi Sundowns coach has passed away.
Reports in local media have confirmed the passing of Henri Michel, who died at the age of 70 years old, having coached the likes of France, Morocco, Cameroon, Tunisia, the Kenyan national team, Ivory Coast and Equatorial Guinea at national team level as well as Raja Casablanca and Zamalek, among others, at club level.
Michel was also the head coach of Sundowns in the 2008/9 season but didn't complete the whole campaign.
The former French midfielder led his country to Olympic gold in 1984 and qualified with Morocco for the 1998 World Cup.
