A football agent has confirmed that there is South African interest in a midfielder from AS Togo-Port.

According to sources in the know, both Mamelodi Sundowns and Jomo Cosmos are believed to have set their sights on Aboubacar Sangare from As Togo-Port.
Sundowns recently locked horns with the Togolese team, in an away and home fixture of the CAF Champions League group stages, with Sangare putting in an assist as Togo-Port lost 2-1 to Masandawana.
Sources have revealed that the 18-year-old caught the attention of the Brazilians, with Cosmos also showing interest.
The Siya crew were in contact with the young player’s representative, Charles Domingos, who did not divulge much information.
“Yes, there is interest in the player from South Africa, but I can not divulge any further. If a move to any club materialises, the media will be made aware of (it),” Domingos told the Siya crew.
