In total, eight players will be forced to sit in the stands for the games set to take place tonight and tomorrow due to suspension, while two head coaches will also be unavailable to sit on the bench for their respective teams.
Free State Stars’ Luc Eymael continues his suspension in the stands, as does Roger de Sa of Platinum Stars, with both coaches no doubt looking forward to getting back in the trenches with their players.
Meanwhile, in tonight’s game between Bidvest Wits and Maritzburg United, no less than four key players will be absent, with Daylon Claasen and Edwin Gyimah missing for the hosts, with Deolin Mekoa and Fortune Makaringe suspended for the visitors.
Chippa United will have to make do without Frederic Nsabiyumva when they go up against Mamelodi Sundowns, with the Chilli Boys looking to try and put a dent in Masandawana’s title credentials.
Also tomorrow night, Polokwane City host SupersSport United in a clash at the other end of the table, with Bernard Molekwa missing both Sibusiso Sikhosana and Simphiw Hlongwa.
Their opponents, SuperSport, have their captain, Dean Furman, suspended after his booking against Maritzburg before the international break.
