The clock is ticking toward the opening of the July/August transfer window, where clubs will look to beef up their squads to challenge in the new season and Soccer Laduma takes a look at up to 10 strikers who are being linked with moves.
Jeremy Brockie seems to be at the top of the list of strikers being heavily linked with a move away, with his Mamelodi Sundowns’ exit now inevitable at this point.
The New Zealand international has of late been linked to SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs, and in the past has been on the radar of Bidvest Wits.
Evans Rusike and Bradley Grobler at SuperSport are also being eyed up by clubs elsewhere. As reported previously by the Siya crew, Grobler is being linked with both Sundowns and Pirates while Rusike is being linked to the Brazilians.
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Gustavo Paez has attracted local interest in the past and is also now being linked with a move out of South Africa.
On the other hand, Leonardo Castro who is still on the books of Chiefs, is believed to have been transfer listed.
Thokozani Sekotlong is another Sundowns player being linked with a move away from the Brazilians, with the striker having spent a few months on loan at Black Leopards towards the end of last season.
As reported yesterday by the Siya crew, Yannick Zakri is being linked with an exit from Maritzburg United and it remains to be seen where his next move will be.
Joseph Mhlongo has been eyed up by Chiefs while his teammate Mwape Musonda has been on the radar of several clubs in the PSL, including the big three.
Gabadinho Mhango has been linked with an exit from Wits for quite some time, with Chiefs having eyed the player up in the past for quite some time. Currently, sources have revealed that the player’s situation is being monitored by the Bucs.
