EA SPORTS have shown off some more details regarding UFC 4 and detailed how much has changed with the career mode.
It seems that EA have taken notes from feedback from fans with recent titles, with a lot of their sports games receiving criticism for the lack of depth in career modes.
UFC 3 earned praise for a number of mechanics, but it seems that the developers have looked to ensure that the main single-player mode takes things to the next level.
They have ensured that players learn more about the coach-fighter relationship with the inclusion of Coach Davis. The role has been taken on by a real actor.
They have also chosen to integrate evolving skills with the opportunity to improve both skills and traits to cater for your ideal fighting style.
They also discussed the relationships mechanic, which runs through from sparring partners to potential opponents, which is likely to have you making more crucial decisions outside of the octagon.
It will be interesting to see whether these RPG elements, along with enhanced focus on matter outside of fights will bring about a more authentic experience.
