A Zimbabwean midfielder could be set to complete a switch to Mzansi after impressing with his performances during the recently completed COSAFA Cup tournament in the Eastern Cape.
Blessing Sarupinda – the highly-rated midfielder who has been on the books of Zimbabwean giants CAPS United, could be added on the list of new signings for ambitious newly-promoted side, Sekhukhune United.
Having completed the signing of Talent Chawapiwa from AmaZulu, as predicted by the Siya crew, Babina Noko are keen to add Sarupinda onto the list of their new players to possibly take the number of Zimbabwean players on their books to four.
Sekhukune already have veteran goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini and McClive Phiri on their books, with Chawapiwa becoming the third Zimbabwean in the team.
Meanwhile, the Siya crew has learnt that Washington Arubi has turned down Sekhukhune in their bid to sign him and has decided to stay with Marumo Gallants for the 2021/22 season.
