Zambian striker, Tapson Kaseba, could be a step closer to making a move to the PSL, according to the player's representatives.
Earlier in the season, it was reported by the Siya crew that the player attracted interest from the PSL, with Free State Stars appearing to be keen on adding him to their roster at the time.
The player’s representative, Aris Albetti, confirmed to the Siya crew that the Green Eagles forward is attracting interest from around Africa and overseas.
Kaseba has scored four goals from his last five matches and provided an assist for Eagles.
The forward scored 18 goals in Zambia’s Super Division last year, just three goals behind golden boot winner Idriss Mbombo, who was also previously linked to the PSL.
Kaseba’s South African-based representative, Aris Albetti, was reluctant to name the PSL clubs keeping tabs on the player, although he admitted to interest in him.
“It’s no secret that Tapson is a target for some clubs at the moment. However the player is contracted with Eagles, but at the same time we won’t close the doors for the player,” said Albetti.
“He is still young and improving. He has every right to challenge himself in his career and play at the bigger stages. One thing for sure is that he is capable of achieving that,” the representative told the Siya crew.
