A highly-rated Zambian midfielder is believed to be closing in on a move to South Africa after he recently parted ways with his club.
As confirmed by Zambian club Zanaco, Charles Zulu is on his way to join Cape Town City, although there has been no official confirmation from the Mother City outfit about the deal as yet.
“Charles Zulu bids farewell to his teammates after his last training session as a Zanaco FC players as he prepares to start his new life at Cape Town City,” the Zambian club confirmed on Twitter.
It is the second time that Zulu has been linked with a move to Mzansi after he was reportedly on the radar of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns respectively in 2016, however, the player reportedly opted for trials in France instead at the time.
