Amakhosi To Send Attacker On Loan?

Kaizer Chiefs could try and offload William Twala in the January transfer window, with talk of a loan move away from the club.
The 27-year-old hasn’t started a game for the Glamour Boys in over a year after falling down the pecking order at Naturena, with Steve Komphela opting to use other Amakhosi players ahead of him.
In fact, since joining in January 2016, Twala has only made 19 starts in all competitions, with Komphela often utilising him as an impact substitution rather than a regular starter.
Back in September, in a game against Golden Arrows, Twala was left embarrassed as he was brought on in the 46th-minute only to be taken off again in the 87th despite not being injured.
Though Komphela has insisted that there was no bad blood between the two after that situation, as indicated in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, sources close to Chiefs suggest that Twala could be on his way out.
A source told the Siya crew, “Chiefs are considering sending William Twala on loan. There is talk of it and it could happen as early as January, during the transfer window.”
Twala’s last appearance for Chiefs was over a month ago.
