With Maritzburg finalizing a last minute loan deal for the striker, there were questions around the possibility of Sundowns maybe subsidizing the player’s salary.
However, Maritzburg did not want to reveal any details about the player’s contract conditions, although the club’s football manager, Quinton Jettoo said, “The player is on loan at Maritzburg so it’s Maritzburg who will take on his salary, I think that is the part of the agreement that I can’t disclose, I think obviously there are conditions in any agreement and there are some confidentiality clauses which I cant disclose so I am not in a position to disclose the actual agreement.”
