A former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns striker could be in search of a club again, following his stint with Chippa United.
This past season, Edward Manqele has been at two different clubs in Free State Stars and Chippa respectively.
Having signed with Ea Lla Koto in September last year, after being without a club since leaving Kaizer Chiefs in April, Manqele surprisingly asked to be released from the Bethlehem club in January this year.
The striker went on to re-sign with Chippa on a short-term deal. With his deal with the Port Elizabeth outfit set to expire at the end of next month, an indication from sources close to the club is that the 30-year-old could be deemed surplus to requirements in the team.
The Chilli Boys have announced the signing of Boikanyo Komane from Royal Eagles, as well as Ntuxeko Ndlovu and Lucky Setelele from Cape Town All Stars.
The club is also expected to announce the signing of Thabo Nthethe, who is expected likely to be on his way out of Sundowns at the expiry of his contract at the end of next month.
