Ex-Chiefs Duo Released By SuperSport
Two Ex-Kaizer Chiefs Men Have Been Released By SuperSport United
SuperSport United have already been busy with regards to fixing up their team, and two former Kaizer Chiefs stars are the latest players involved in the changes.
The Siya crew reported earlier this week that Matsatsantsa had snapped up free agent James Keene on a one-year deal with an option, while Washington Arubi is expected to be their next signing if all goes to plan.
Now, after escaping relegation on the last day of the season, the club is making some difficult decisions on who will be a part of their squad going into the 2018/19 campaign.
It has been confirmed that both Tefu Mashamaite and Kingston Nkhatha are now on the hunt for new clubs after being told that their SuperSport contracts will not be renewed, and they will no doubt be eager to get their future sorted as soon as possible.
Mashamaite, 33, and Nkhatha, 32, didn’t feature much for the Tshwane-based outfit this season, and clearly didn’t enough to earn themselves an extended stay at the club.
Meanwhile, it is also believed that SuperSport have their sights set on trying to sign talented Ubuntu Cape Town defender - and South African youth international - Luke Fleurs.
