The Siya crew has been reliably informed that an experienced Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila player is available on a free transfer.
According to information received by the crew, TTM is understood to have not exercised the option in Alfred Ndengane's contract by February and now the player is a free agent, with the possibility of turning out for a new club come the 2021/22 Premier Soccer League campaign.
TTM, however, are in negotiations with the player and his representative to try to hold onto him, but it’s unclear at this stage if they will be able to have him on board for another season.
After leaving the Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates at the end of last season, Ndengane made a move to Limpopo to join TTM, signing a one-year deal with the club.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic player played a key role in ensuring they do not go down to the GladAfrica Championship, as they finished in 12th place. He also played an immense role in their Nedbank Cup success, which saw them beating Chippa United in the final to get their hands on the knockout competition trophy. The 34-year-old made 28 appearances in all competitions for the club.
There will be more clarity about what happens next with the player in the coming weeks.
