Orlando Pirates are expected to finalise deals with two more key players in what is already a busy transfer period for the Soweto giants.

Earlier today (Friday), Pirates confirmed reaching an agreement with Cape Town City for the services of midfielder Riyaad Norodien, who is making a return to the Mother City, as well as Brighton Mhlongo who is going back to Gauteng to join Bidvest Wits, following a stint with Chippa United last season.
The Siya crew has been reliably informed that Bucs are in advanced negotiations for Linda Mntambo from Chippa, as well as Ben Motshwari from Wits.
“The talks are ongoing for both players. In fact, the talks are at an advanced stage for the two players but nothing has been finalised,” said the source.
The Siya crew reported in February already that an agreement had been reached for Pirates to re-visit their interest in Motshwari at the end of the 2017/18 season.

Meshack Maphangule, Kudakwashe Mahachi, Paseka Mako and Abel Mabaso are some of the players expected to don the colours of Pirates under coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and his technical team in the new season.
