Sundowns To Tempt Ex-Bucs Star Into SA Return?

Mamelodi Sundowns look set for a busy transfer window once again before the 2018/19 season gets underway, and they’ve earmarked a Bafana Bafana international as a potential target.
Pitso Mosimane has already spoken about the fact that he is preparing for life without both Khama Billiat and Percy Tau as they attract interest from elsewhere, with Billiat set to be a free agent at the end of this month.
While Masandawana have already snapped up Toni Silva to bolster their attacking force, it appears that they have also placed former Orlando Pirates star, Tokelo Rantie, on their list of players to keep an eye on.
As reported in the latest issue of Soccer Laduma, Rantie is currently a free agent after a falling out with Genclerbirligi in Turkey which led to his contract being terminated, and he will be on the lookout for a new club as he tries to get his career back on track next season.
If Rantie does decide to come back to South Africa rather than look for another move overseas (he does have interest from Scandinavia), he will not be short of potential suitors, with Benni McCarthy also reportedly interested in reuniting with his former Bucs teammate at Cape Town City.
