Stars Part Ways With Sekotlong
Thokozani Sekotlong Leaves Free State Stars
Free State Stars have parted ways with Thokozani Sekotlong.
Sekotlong has been one of the outstanding and influential players for Stars, since his arrival at the club last year.
The former Maritburg United player has been impressive in creating and scoring goals for Ea Lla Koto in the only season he has been with the team, during the 2016/17 Absa Premiership campaign.
The 26-year-old netted five goals for the team last season.
“Thokozani Sekotlong has parted ways with Free State Stars. He is a free agent. He is looking for a club for the new season,” said the source.
The Bethlehem outfit has been keen to hold on to the player for another season, but negotiations for a new deal broke down between the parties.
The player penned a one-year deal with Stars when he joined the club last year.
