With the January transfer window in full swing and the possibility of pre-contracts being penned, three experienced stars are in the process of securing new deals…
SuperSport United have already revealed that they have finalised a new long-term contract for club legend, Ronwen Williams, while they are also in the process of tying down Aubrey Modiba after rejecting advances from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Now, according to Siya sources, Matsatsantsa are currently in discussions with Siyabonga Nhlapho, Bongani Khumalo and Onismor Bhasera regarding new one-year extensions for the trio, with all of them due to see their contracts expire at the end of the current campaign.
Kaitano Tembo’s side have already done a bit of work this transfer window with the signing of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Moses Waiswa, and have also agreed a four-year pre-contract with Stellenbosch attacker, Iqraam Rayners, who will join them in July.
SuperSport are thought to be assessing other potential options for themselves before the window slams shut at the end of the month, although are eager to make sure that they can continue to fend off interest for their other players that are in-demand from elsewhere.
