The representative of Thabo ‘Jomo’ Rakhale has commented about the future of the skilful player.
Since 2018 in April, Rakhale has been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, although Chippa United have been able to hold onto him until up to this stage.
The Chilli Boys have been keen on handing the former Orlando Pirates player a contract extension, however, the Eastern Cape club boss Siviwe Mpengesi appeared to have given up on convincing the player to stay as the negotiations kept on dragging without finalisation.
While Amakhosi are believed to be still keen on Rakhale, the Soweto giants have yet been able to have their two-window FIFA transfer ban overturned.
“Well, nothing has happened on that one and it’s only the statements that have come through from the club (Chippa). There’s nothing official from the club (regarding a new deal). But I can’t say that when one door closes one won’t open. Anything is a possibility,” Rakhale’s agent Mandla Mthembu told the Siya crew.
