Former Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town striker, Tendai Ndoro, looks set to complete his return to the Absa Premiership, and is currently undergoing a medical.
The 30-year-old Zimbabwean hasn’t played a competitive game of football since March due to the transfer saga that ultimately cost the Urban Warriors their place in the top-flight, and he received his clearance from the club in June as they parted ways.
Ndoro started training with Highlands Park as he looked to start a new chapter in his career and put a tough year behind him, and the Siya crew have been informed that a deal could potentially be wrapped up today that could see him join the Lions of the North.
With 38 goals in South Africa since 2014, the striker has proven that he has an eye for goal, and with Highlands currently 11th on the Absa Premiership table, Owen da Gama will be hoping to see the forward rekindle his scoring form as they look to try and maintain their status in the top-flight this season.
Siya sources have suggested that a long-term deal – possibly up to three years – could be on the table for the ex-Mpumalanga Black Aces man, however, there are still some of the details of the contract still to wrap up.
