Another Injury Blow For Chiefs?
Teenage Hadebe Could Be Out For Kaizer Chiefs
Word reaching the Siya crew is that Kaizer Chiefs may be without their defender, Teenage Hadebe, for a while. Indications are that the defender has picked up another injury.
The 22-year-old centre back only managed to play 13 Absa Premiership games for the Glamour Boys last season as his debut campaign was marred by injury, and it appears that he has had similarly bad luck as things get underway this time around.
According to Siya sources, Hadebe is a doubt for the clash with Mamelodi Sundowns this weekend after picking up an ankle injury, although the extent of it is not known at this point in time.
Chiefs already have George Maluleka in a moon boot as they prepare to miss him going into their clash with Masandawana, however, it does look like both Siphiwe Tshabalala and Khama Billiat will be fit after they limped off in the preseason friendly against Cape Town City.
Gustavo Paez was also carrying a minor knock, although isn’t expected to miss any games because of it. Giovanni Solinas will be finalising his starting XI this week before the league gets underway on Saturday afternoon.
