News reaching the Siya crew is that Teboho Moloi is considered for a head coaching role at the University of Pretoria.
The former Chippa United coach, who had also been linked with Mamelodi Sundowns in recent months, has emerged as a frontrunner for the head coach role at the National First Division club for the new season, with sources indicating that a deal between the parties could be imminent.
“Tuks are considering employing Tebogo Moloi as their head coach,” said the source.
Tuks are currently without a head coach after parting ways with Shaun Bartlett – the Bafana Bafana legend who had been at the helm for two seasons.
Moloi has been unattached since parting ways with Chippa in March.
In other news this week, as earlier reported by the Siya crew, it has been indicated from sources in the know that the Sundowns entity is looking to purchase Tuks’ NFD status.
It is believed that the Brazilians’ entity is keen on acquiring Tuks, as part of their overall football strategy from which the club could be used for Downs’ development players to play senior football and to prepare them for PSL football, according to sources.
Moloi is said to be earmarked for the role.
